Dear Star sisters and brothers,
It was a fun night for me, my fist real meeting. I hope you all enjoyed yourself as much as I did. I brought in my decorations for the star points and the east/west. I hope you all liked your dragonfly pins. Marianne and Bob brought in the refreshments, with beautiful fall decorations.
We had a fun breakfast at Denny's on Saturday
After breakfast, I went to the Grand Officers' Reception in Leadville. You can see the photos of the reception here. It was a beautiful ride in the golden and green mountains.
NEXT MEETING
POT LUCK - 6:00
We have a pot luck dinner next week at 6:00, so bring some goodies and we can have some fun before the meeting.
SOLDIER BOXES
Also, bring some goodies for the sodiers' boxes, and we can work on those during the pot luck time.
NEW PROJECTS
I am going to bring up sign-up sheets for feeding the kids and more about the coffee sales. I think that these are both good year-long projects
